Studio Update
We’re excited to share that the Alpha trailer, which has been fully prepared, is nearing its release! We’ve been waiting to confirm the official Alpha launch date, and we’ll be able to announce it very soon. The trailer, complete with the launch date, will be published no later than Friday, October 18th, so keep an eye out!
In terms of marketing, we’ve lined up a strong group of influencers ready to promote the Alpha launch. Once the trailer and date are made public, you can expect them to start spreading the word. Based on the initial reception, we’re confident that we’ll attract even more influencers to the campaign. We’re excited to see the results unfold and are optimistic that it will drive significant momentum as we move closer to the Alpha launch.
Development Update
We’ve focused on enhancing both performance and user experience through a series of important updates. Our improvements to NPC multiplayer replication ensure smoother interactions for all users in shared environments, while the integration of dynamic backend scaling allows the system to handle more users during busy periods and efficiently scale down when fewer are present. We’ve also implemented better error handling for NPC Websocket connections to improve stability, and introduced a dynamic texture pool management system that optimizes graphical performance based on your GPU’s VRAM. In addition, a large number of bugs have been fixed, many of which involved collision issues that were not a priority earlier but have become critical as we approach the final stages of development. These updates mark significant progress in getting the NetVRk metaverse ready for launch!

AI Update
In this update, we’ve made some exciting improvements to our AI, Silk. Her response time has been significantly enhanced, allowing for faster and more seamless interactions. We’ve also worked on improving her visuals, giving her a more polished and engaging appearance. Additionally, Silk’s movements have been refined, making her walking and other motions smoother and more lifelike.
Blockchain Update
The blockchain team has made significant progress for the NFT marketplace, particularly on the marketplace smart contract. This contract will enable core functionalities such as NFT listings, instant purchases, and offers from both buyers and sellers. NFT owners can seamlessly list their digital assets for sale, while potential buyers can place offers, even on NFTs that aren’t currently listed. Sellers will have the flexibility to accept offers, update listings, or cancel them. Buyers, in turn, can directly purchase NFTs that are listed.
Additionally, the MarketDrop contract has entered the wireframing phase, setting the stage for NFT drops and streamlined minting within the NetVRk Marketplace. This contract will allow smooth, efficient releases of new NFTs.
